The meal you rehearse before it happens, the rules that never seem to let up, the running commentary about your body you can't switch off. Recovery is possible, and you don't have to untangle it alone.

How we help
Our therapists provide evidence-based outpatient treatment for eating disorders and disordered eating, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to loosen the grip of food and body rules and address what is underneath. Eating disorders are best treated by a team, so we coordinate with dietitians and medical providers as needed. If a higher level of care would be safer, we will say so and help you find it.

Understanding eating disorders
Eating disorders are not about vanity or willpower, and they are not a lifestyle choice. They are serious, treatable conditions that often work as a way to manage anxiety, control, or pain, and they show up in people of every body size, gender, and background. The rules around food and the body can feel safe at first and then quietly take over.
Recovery is possible, and reaching out early makes it more likely. With the right team and evidence-based therapy, most people can build a steadier, freer relationship with food and their body. You do not have to be at your worst to deserve care.
