Transparent rates for private pay

These rates apply when you pay without insurance. Using one of our in-network plans? You'll typically pay your plan's copay or coinsurance instead, and we go over your numbers before your first session. Every level offers the same warmth and care; newer clinicians work under experienced supervision.

Sessions run about 60 minutes, and intakes can run longer so your therapist can really get to know you. And so your therapist can hold your time, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

Frequently asked questions

Insurance and fees, answered

Can I use my EAP benefits?
Yes. We accept select Employee Assistance Program (EAP) plans. If your employer offers one, mention it when you reach out and we'll take it from there.
What will I actually pay?
Every plan is a little different. With some, there's no copay or you've already met your deductible, and you pay nothing at all. With others, you'll owe a copay or a portion until your deductible is met. Either way, we check your specific benefits and go over the numbers with you before your first session, so you always know what to expect.
Why doesn't my insurance cover more?
It comes down to your specific plan, not the practice. Insurance works a bit like a coupon: it discounts the cost of care, and how big that discount is depends entirely on your plan's benefits, which is also why taking your insurance to a different office won't lower what you owe. Some plans simply value mental health more than others, so two people seeing the same therapist can owe very different amounts. We're always glad to look up your benefits and explain exactly what to expect.
What if I don't see my insurance listed?
You may still have out-of-network benefits that cover part of the cost, and many people don't realize they do. Reach out and we'll check for you before your first session. If you're covered, you'd pay our private-pay rate and we'll provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement.
