Trauma Therapy and EMDR in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Mesa

What Happened to You Doesn't Have to Define How You Feel Forever

Trauma has a way of staying with you long after the event itself is over. It shows up in the body, as tension, hypervigilance, and exhaustion. It shows up in relationships, as patterns of disconnection, distrust, or conflict that you can't quite explain. It shows up in the mind, as memories, intrusive thoughts, and a nervous system that never fully settled back down.

You may have tried to push through it, told yourself you should be over it by now, or wondered why certain things still affect you so deeply. Trauma doesn't follow a timeline and it doesn't respond to willpower alone. It responds to safety, compassion, and the right kind of support.

Our licensed trauma therapists use evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic therapy, CBT, and DBT to help clients process what they've been carrying and begin to feel like themselves again. Healing from trauma is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.

We know that reaching out about an eating disorder or body image struggle takes enormous courage. Many people wait a long time before they do. So here is exactly what happens when you contact us, so there are no unknowns standing between you and getting support.

You send us a message or give us a call. Someone from our care coordination team, a real person and not an automated system, will follow up within one business day. They'll have a gentle conversation with you about what you're experiencing and what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to share. From there, they'll match you with the therapist who feels like the right fit for your needs, your schedule, and your insurance.

In-person eating disorder therapy is available at our offices in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Mesa, by appointment only to protect your privacy. Telehealth is available to clients anywhere in Arizona including Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott, and Yuma.

We accept Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Optum, and BCBS. Not sure if your plan covers therapy? Reach out and we'll verify your benefits before your first appointment. And if you'd like to meet your therapist before committing to a full session, just ask. A free 15-minute consultation is available upon request.
